Quotes

Roy Hodgson

"We found ourselves in a poor situation a week or two ago but Mamadou Sakho and Joel Ward have both recovered which is a big boost for us.

"Yohan Cabaye, who I thought was going to be out for a long period after his ankle injury at Arsenal, has also recovered so our injury list is confined to those that everyone knows about where we have players who will not be back for any time in the near future.

"All credit to David (Moyes) and his staff for getting the team playing how they have at the moment. We are ready to play a team who are playing well, even with the injuries.

"This is a very important period where we have to work to maintain our Premier League status. This year in particular there are such a small number of points between the teams, it is a dog fight."

David Moyes

"We have moved out from the bottom three, got ourselves up the table and the job is to stay up there in the table, top half if possible but I know Crystal Palace are a tough team, them and us outside the top six are the form teams so tough game, Roy has done a brilliant job with Palace.

"When he took over with the games they had an the position they were in, it looked really difficult for Palace but he has got them going in the right direction. Tough games for us but a tough game for team.

"When I came here, I think every game was a must-win win and then we had the big games like Arsenal, Chelsea and then went to Spurs and every game we had felt like a must win game. I suppose we go into this game in the exact same way, most game in the Premier League are.

"If you're at the top you need to win to stay there, if you're at the bottom you need to win to stay out of it."
