Find out what's been happening in the Crystal Palace world this week with Matt Sillett's news round-up.

Wan-Bissaka pens new deal

Young Eagles defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has signed a new four-year contract.

The 20-year-old has made a big impression since being drafted into the first team in February due to injuries and has now been rewarded by the club.

He said: "I'm really happy to extend my contract at Palace. I've been with the club since I was 11, which makes today even more special.

"I'd like to thank Roy, the coaches and the Chairman for showing their belief in me, and I hope to repay them with my performances."

Loftus-Cheek coy on plans

Ruben Loftus-Cheek says he is too focused on finishing this season to think about his future just yet.

The midfielder is currently on loan from Chelsea and has yet to decide whether to make the move full time or return to the Blues.

"Whatever happens next season, I'm not really looking at that right now," he said. "I'll deal with that when it comes."

Report: Palace to offload front man

Crystal Palace are looking to sell striker Christian Benteke, according to newspaper speculation.

It has been reported the £120,000-a-week Belgian does not feature in Roy Hodgson's plans next season and he was dropped for the game against Brighton.

Hodgson said: "Why would I say we missed Benteke and his presence? The two players up front caused the Bournemouth defence all sorts of problems."

Parish salutes glorious junior sides

Chairman Steve Parish has praised the Academy after the U18 and U23 teams won their respective leagues.

"Splitting the club's Academy onto its own site in close proximity to the first team but with its own identity and facilities is also proving to bear fruit," he said.

"With the U23’s and U18’s winning their respective leagues and the U14’s and 15’s doing well in the National Cup the future has never looked brighter.

"I would also take this opportunity to congratulate Paddy McCarthy and Richard Shaw for their respective successes with the title winning teams."
