Midfielder Luka Milivojevic will be representing Crystal Palace at this summer's World Cup in Russia. Here are the former Eagles who have also played at the finals.

Gregg Berhalter (USA in 2002)

Defender Gregg Berhalter was the first Palace player to feature in a World Cup when he was selected for the USA in the 2002 tournament.

Taking place in Japan and South Korea, Berhalter helped the Yanks get to the quarter-finals for the first time since 1930 where they were beaten 1-0 by Germany.

It might have been a different result had the referee spotted Berhalter's goal-bound effort was blatantly cleared off the line by a German defender's hand.

Tony Popovic (Australia in 2006)

At the 2006 World Cup, which was held in Germany, centre half Tony Popovic turned out for his country Australia. Popovic was picked for the Socceroos' second match against Brazil after manager Guus Hiddink rested some players.

Unfortunately for Popovic, he was forced off with a calf injury five minutes before half-time at 0-0 and the match ended in a 2-0 defeat. He had to sit out the remaining matches as the Aussies got out of the group but lost to eventual winners Italy.

Mile Jedinak (Australia in 2014)

Palace had another Aussie at a World Cup, this time midfield enforcer Mile Jedinak in 2014. Playing a key role in Palace's Premier League survival, Jedinak travelled to the Brazil finals as his nation's captain.

The Socceroos lost their opener against Chile, but Jedinak became Palace's first World Cup goal scorer after netting a penalty against Holland in their next game. However, Australia lost 3-2 and then again to Spain which meant a beardless Jedinak headed home early.
