Crystal Palace keeper Wayne Hennessey has signed a new three-year deal.

The Wales international was out of contract this summer and has opted to remain at Selhurst Park in a deal that will take him to 2021.

Hennessey, who was the no.1 choice for most of last season, will fight it out with new signing Vicente Guaita for a starting spot.

The 31-year-old has played 106 games for the Eagles since arriving from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £1.75m in February 2014.

He told the Palace website: "I’m really happy to commit my future to the club. I’ve always said how much I enjoy playing football here and the way we ended last season shows what we’re capable of achieving as a team.

"Now I just want to concentrate on preparing for the new season and play my part in helping the club push on to the next level."
