Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has joined Manchester United in a record £50m transfer.
Wan-Bissaka finally completed his protracted move after weeks of contract negotiations and he signs a five-year deal worth up to £80,000 a week with the Eagles inserting a 10 per cent sell-on clause.
The 21-year-old has made a huge impression in the Premier League after an exemplary season-and-a-half since stepping up from the U23s due to Palace's injury crisis.
After making his debut at home to Tottenham in February 2018, Wan-Bissaka has thwarted the very best Premier League attackers and claimed last season's fan and players' Player of the Year awards.
The right back is Palace's highest-ever sale and he becomes the fifth most expensive defender of all time and second behind Manchester City's Kyle Walker (£53m) as the most expensive English defender.
Wan-Bissaka, who had been representing England at the European U21 Championship, said: "It’s an unbelievable feeling and an honour to call myself a Manchester United player and something I know that only a small number of players have the privilege to say.
"I can’t wait to get going and integrated into the squad. I will have a short break now after the European Championships but I’m looking forward to starting training with the manager and my new team-mates on the pre-season tour."
