Crystal Palace crashed to another summer friendly loss with a 1-0 reverse at Nottingham Forest.

The Championship side started brightly and peppered Wayne Hennessey's goal with a number of long-range shots.

So it was no surprise they took the lead in the 31st minute when Albert Adomah slotted in after Lewis Grabban's initial strike was saved by Hennessey.

Tiago Silva almost added another Forest goal after the break but his effort stuck against the Palace upright.

Despite pressuring the home goal, Roy Hodgson's Eagles were unable to find the net.

Palace: Hennessey, Van Aanholt, Dann, Kelly, Ward, Meyer, Milivojevic, McArthur, Townsend, Schlupp, Benteke.

Not used: Henderson, Woods, Hobbs, Riedewald, Wickham, Sorloth, Daly.
