Wilfried Zaha
We round up the week's Crystal Palace transfer rumours and gossip.
Italian outfit Napoli want to sign Wilfried Zaha for a fee of £54.6m – but Palace are not keen to sell their star man who has four years left on his contract. Arsenal and Everton have both bid for the Ivory Coast international this summer. (Sky Sports)
Arsenal are not giving up on landing Zaha even though they are close to bringing in Nicolas Pepe from Lille for a club record £72m. Zaha favours a deal that would keep him in London. (The i)
Palace have joined Newcastle, Birmingham and Reading in trying to land 19-year-old striker Jonathan Afolabi. The Ireland U19 star scored nine goals and got six assists in 36 appearances for Southampton’s U23 side and is available on a free. (Pundit Arena)
Palace intend to make a €15m offer for CSKA forward Fyodor Chalov, who has been linked with Arsenal and Monaco. Chalov bagged 17 goals and made seven assists in 37 games last season. (Championat)
Monaco defender Djibril Sidibé is set to sign for Palace as replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The World Cup winner with France could be worth up to €15m and West Ham are also sniffing around. (L'Equipe)
Palace have dropped their interest in Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos after signing Jordan Ayew. The Columbian scored 30 goals for the Scottish club last season but was sent off five times. (Sotszine)
Newcastle United’s centre-back Ciaran Clark is of interest to Palace in a £5m transfer. The 29-year-old only played 11 league games last term but new boss Steve Bruce says he's going nowhere: “I have had a chat and that is not going to happen.” (The Sun)
