Crystal Palace have signed attacker Zavier Gozo from US club Real Salt Lake.

Palace paid a reported £11million for the 19-year-old who has penned a five-year deal with the Eagles.

Gozo joined the Real Salt Lake youth setup in 2021 and made his Major League Soccer bow aged 16 in October 2023.

He was picked for the season's MLS All-Star Game after an impressive campaign where he netted six goals and produced four assists in the opening 16 league fixtures.

Born in Utah, Gozo has appeared for the United States at every level up to under-23s.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to playing in the Premier League with Crystal Palace. It’s the dream of any footballer.

“I’m excited by the people and the project they have going on here. I’ve seen a lot of it, and that’s what excites me about this club as well: the success that they’ve had.”

He joins Palace's other summer signings Oscar Mingueza, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Dwight McNeil, Evann Guessand and Anan Khalaili.
