Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz has joined Nottingham Forest in a £22m deal.

The Colombian right-back reunites with Oliver Glasner at the City Ground, having previously lifted the FA Cup and Conference League alongside him at the Eagles.

Munoz has put pen to paper on a three-year contract after two and a half seasons at Selhurst Park, during which he found the net 11 times in 109 outings.

He played a decisive role in the FA Cup final victory over Manchester City, setting up Eberechi Eze’s winning goal and being named Man of the Match.

His performances throughout the 2024/25 campaign also earned him both the supporters’ Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season awards.

That season included important goals against Millwall and Brighton, with his strike against the Seagulls helping Palace complete their first top-flight league double over their rivals.

Chairman Steve Parish said: “Danny has given us many magical moments down the years and rightly earned his place in the club’s history books. Everybody at Selhurst Park thanks him for his service and wishes him well.”
