Julian Gray

The Daily Star reports today that Newcastle United are monitoring the progress of Julian Gray.

Gray has impressed on the wing for Palace, and particularly this season, since his £500,000 move from Arsenal in July 2000.

The newspaper report suggests Bobby Robson is thought to be preparing a £3.5m bid for the player.

Gray has already caught the eye of Derby County earlier this season. Reports in February suggested they had bid £1m to get their man.
