Harris signs for Wycombe

Richard Harris has signed a one-year contract with Wycombe Wanderers.

He joined Wycombe on loan last month, but only played three games for the club as he suffered a hamstring injury.

However, Harris has impressed Lawrie Sanchez enough to earn a permanent move.

The youngster was known to Palace fans as a long throw specialist, but his opportunities for the Eagles were limited.

He said: "I have not been able to play enough games for Lawrie to see me and so he has agreed to a year for me to prove myself worth a longer term.

"This is a terrific club and I am very pleased the gaffer has given me this chance, they are a great bunch of lads here and I can't wait for next season to start."
