Dean Austin

Dean Austin has been put on the transfer list after speaking out against Simon Jordan.

Austin, 32, was angry at having to cancel his family holiday in order to play in the European Communities Trophy, in Seville.

He has since cancelled the holiday to Dubai, been fined a week's wages and resigned as club captain. He could not make the trip to Spain as his mum is sick.

Austin said: "I was very angry for having to cancel my holiday after being told nine days before the end of the season that I would be travelling to Seville.

"As club captain, it was wrong for me to condemn the chairman. Trevor Francis has informed me I've been transfer-listed which is disappointing."
