I miss those days. It's all oat lattes, early closing and minimum pricing these days. My local is pretty raucous, that's about it. I got chucked out by the gards the other night - half past eight! A dying breed. RIP. Protect your gards at all times.

Went to see him in early 2000’s. Drove all the way to Colchester to pickup the third person, then up to Manchester. Parked at the arena, paid for parking to the attendant and went off for tea. Turns out gig had been cancelled that morning as he’d been taken Ill. b****** attendant didn’t tell us though nor did the Arena. Eventually saw him 7 months later and he came out on a stretcher, with a flatline heart monitor that started beating. Turns out Heaven couldn’t wait any more!

Bat Out Of Hell is one of the greatest albums of all time. I never actually saw Meat Loaf but that album and Bat Out Of Hell 2 will be part of the soundtrack of my life forever. Thanks Meat Loaf and Jim. RIP.

A proper Rocknrolla! RIP
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Talented. Getting to 74 was quite the achievement considering how he rode life like a cheap date.

just to say that although BOOH and BOOH2 are his pinnacles, I really love his Midnight at The Lost and Found album. An album he co-wrote many of the songs on, and shows the sheer class of the man's voice with a lot less production than the Steinman albums.
