Depends on who will be in control. So I guess no.

You were interested enough to reply. I hardly think I'm the only one to notice race is barely mentioned in reports anymore. Whichever race it is. I watched several reports - admittedly mostly BBC on the TV - and on reports I saw there was no mention of race. Perhaps I just didn't notice.

I agree it's not a crisis as the numbers are low but don't forget that the 220 is what we know about. There have been plenty of reports of abandoned dingies found on the beaches of the south coast so it is likely to be a higher number.

It takes time to interview witnesses and study cctv. Witnesses will give different descriptions of the same person. The police need to decide which are accurate.

The police will only issue a descriptions publically once they've decided a suspect has got away.

We shouldn't expect to see a descriptions of suspected criminals within an hour or two of a crime being committed. It's unrealistic to expect something so important to be done so fast.

I haven't studied the extent to which race is or isn't mentioned in reports. But there's an important difference between a crime committed by a suspect who has already been apprehended and a murder where the suspect is still at large.

Conspiracy theories? Didn't Khan recently criticise the use of crime statistics as having a racism component?

Quite possibly. Does he also determine editorial policy at Britain's major news media companies?

Nope....But the media....especially the broadcast media all buy into that same narrative.

Birds of a feather flock together as they say.
