Wharton is an Ideal Jordan Henderson replacement - infact he's an upgrade on JH right now. It's also a position that we are struggling to fill. (although Mainoo did a pretty good job in the last Friendly) "It was a Team effort, I guess it took all players working together to lose this one"

With the hope they come back unscathed, if they go, I am thrilled for those lads. Fully deserved.

To be honest though if Southgate has actually binned Jordan Henderson off that's enough to make my day by itself. this is really good news and a massive advert for Palace in that you can play for us and hit international ambitions. Been a very long time (if ever?) that we've had so many in and around the England squad (Guehi, Eze, Wharton). Excellent news, I take it all back, Southgate’s picking in form players and binning some of the old guard in Henderson, Sterling and Rashford Let’s hope Mitchell slips in there as well
