Johnny Vaughan used to be funny, but he is unbelievably irritating now, as said before loves the sound of his own voice, when he does the show Saturday mornings, i don't know why he bothers having anyone with him, just talks over them, hijacks their stories and basically it's the Johnny show!!

talking about Andy Gray, i remember him scoring from an over head kick, down the white horse end. Only a few yards out, but it was great, was against Man City, against the black keeper, Alex Williams.

I recall sitting right next to the late, great Bill Nicholson in the 'Directors Box' at Selhurst - think the game was the FA Cup Tie v Huddersfield. He was singing the praises of Andy Gray and I recall him saying how strong he was.Gray later signed for Tottenham !

Thanks so much for that Brauny. Great listen - very funny, just wish Vaughan would let him get a word in edgeways.

i was creased up laughing in the kitchen when he was talking about not even wanting that national job.

for what its worth, tho he seems to have a lot of haters on here that johnny vaughn show is always funny on a weekend morning.

It is funny, but JV needs to know when to pipe down, not worth having James Brown on the show, because every time he speaks JV is all over him. Prime example the other week, JB was telling a great story of how he met Jack Nicholson, before he could get his words out JV was telling his story how he once met him!
He just comes across as a nob!

Anyone remember him appearing in a testimonial, possibly Steve kembers? He had ballooned up to about 15 stone, and kept falling over! Great player in his day.

Maybe the replay of the 1990 Cup Final v Man U? he was huge.
