If you find me boring, why not bore off yourself and just don't post at me.

Alternatively explain to me in what way I am boring and help me to improve.

I expect he's a bit tired and emotional due to exhaustion as a result of living such an exciting life.

Its exactly what bungle and his ilk plan for, the working peoples turning on themselves and splitting the vote, instead of asking where all the money has gone!

I’m an HR Director. If people don’t perform, or don’t behave, they are toxic to everyone else and have to go. Any organisation that doesn’t address such matters will suffer. Sadly however that is common.

How many jobs is that now?

If I was sacked by an individual like you I would put it on my CV straight away.

You are awful - but I like you

The muslim lady who was dismissed from her ministers job was justified.

She failed to follow the ministerial code:-

Namely that she failed to be 'slashed out of her trunk' throughout the pandemic

Obviously the Conservatives cannot tolerate this it makes their colleagues feel 'uncomfortable.'

I have dismissed many, many people. I have never given one the chance to make a claim like this

I would suggest the Chief Whip, Mark Spencer, is at least massively incompetent. Where are his written notes? Who was the independent witness? Were there emails beforehand discussing the removal of this lady from her role? Knowing he was dismissing a recently appointed young female Muslim I am sure he recognised that she had protected characteristics and that he needed to take care.

Did you enjoy any dismissals ? I mean right dicks who just had to go and basically goaded you into it.
There are 3 general reasons someone fails at their job.
They are either: lazy, incompetent or don't have enough time to do the job.

That last paragraph describes half the cabinet- yet no dismissals, have we turned in to 1960"s Russia or China?

One I really enjoyed

Literally marched the guy from the premises. Many very happy employees thereafter. He was quite a senior Partner and so far up himself, nasty yuppy type.

Quite often people think someone is good as they work on being 'friends' with their staff. When they go it quickly becomes evident who was actually giving support and guidance and who was hiding behind the old chums act. I can't emphasise enough that people need leaders to be their best selves.

Worst one I did was in Stockholm. When the guy (a huge and impressive mature Partner) entered the room he said 'what are you doing here, oh.....' Then we didn't talk at all for 25 minutes, just let it sink in.

Mostly I take the view that if I don't do it someone that either doesn't care or doesn't know how to will do it and make a mess. I try to leave everyone, even the nasty ones, feeling as good about themselves as is possible. Often they literally thank me for that.

Sorry to go off topic but many years ago I was a performance manager for a customer services call centre, I had to sack one fella from Yorkshire for consistently being rude to customers. He was on a final warning and did it again he used being a straight talking Northerner as an excuse for basically talking over a lady who was in tears on the call as her husband had just died. I had to ask our HR advisors if being a northerner was a protected characteristic, he felt it was part of his culture and upbringing. He was genuinely surprised that it did not give him license to say whatever he wanted, I’m glad I got out of that job but that was my favorite dismissal

The best thing to do with personnel departments is avoid them altogether.
