I watched both the Arsenal game (vs Forest) and Palace in Sheffield. Two different levels. Our full backs will struggle against Martinelli and Saka. Hopefully Lewis Hall will play instead for Schlupp and Hodgson not vaccinated against using subs. And that Guehi is fully fit. If we get away with 0-2 and give the Gunners a fight, I think we shall be pretty pleased.

Arsenal were slow most of the game, I think we can catch em

If you're going to catch em', first game is the game to do it. I think they'll be sharper after another week in training and will stick it to us 3-0

I think this is a pretty good chance for a statement result. Our full backs will need to be at their best, but a win will build on the first result and Olise's retention and may encourage players to join us in what remains of the transfer window

Arsenal deserved to win last weekend but it was only 2-1 (with the help of a deflected shot) at home to Forest team that were the worst away team last season when thet were outscored 44-11

With Timber and Jesus out and Havertz still to be integrated I'm looking forward to a repeat scoreline and scorer as last week

With Ayew and Schlupp in the wide positions we have a more workmanlike current XI which should help us defensively. My concern is where the goals are going to come from. I am going to be incredibly optimistic and go for another 1-0 win with a goal from Andersen from a set-piece.

Dazza’s 2 signings should happen by tonight. I wonder can they play on Monday?

We will win this. Feel it really strongly. A margin of two goals.

We need to be in their faces big time from kickoff. They are vulnerable as we saw against Forest and the Holmesdale effect will serve to force them into mistakes. Well, I'd like to think so anyway. A 1-1 draw will be a good result.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

spine is looking stronger with Lerma , not a one-man band yes fullbacks will have there work cut out but if supply is cut we could get a win Eze and Lerma to score COYP

I'm going for a 1-1 draw, and would be really happy with a point.
