Roy should have been allowed to leave at the end of last season with dignity. Giving him yet another years contract was inexcusable lazy and catastrophic……just kicking the can down the road to avoid making a decision yet again. Having said that the transfer dealings in the summer were shockingly poor….an utter shambles. Who ever was involved is jointly liable for putting Roy in this situation and should go. If thats you Freedman on your bike.

I don't post here much but very much feel the need to share my views today. Hodgson should not have returned for longer than the end of last season. This was a temporary appointment to see out the season to find a replacement and it's how it should have stayed. Today and for the past weeks, we've returned to classic Royball as seen in the final season of Roy era 1; defensive shape, lack of subs and players often out of position. Like it or not, we have officially entered a relegation battle. Roy, thank you but time to depart. A change and a plan for this club is needed.

Watched Roy…sat on the bench for 95% of the game. Is he injured or has age finally caught up with him? Motivation is a key element of a manager’s job - and I didn’t see that tonight! How can encourage, tweak the tactics sitting on your backside with a stupid smile on your face?? I’m afraid…for the first time in a while…time for a change in management
