Forest and Cooper were poor when we played them and very negative considering the weak side we put out. They didn't try to win the game until it was too late.

Spot on. Hodgson , rarely now has more than 14 reliable players to pick from, no wonder people think he always plays the same people . He doesn’t have five really useful options to put on his bench, and only 11or12 of the 14 are actually a half decent side anyway.
All of the fringe players have failed to compete with the 11or12 players whenever they have been called on , not one ever leaves the impression he must be in the side, keep hoping one will is not going to make Palace a consistent good side with no relegation fear.
I don’t know why anyone would want this job under these conditions, why Hodgson did is now a mystery. But if any one thinks just changing the manager is all this club needs then they are in for a big disappointment. If the squad isn’t enlarged substantially , then only a want be be desperate to impress, or a noted failure looking for one more decent contract , would the only options.

Unfortunately the buck stops with the manager, he has decent players available. To send them out to put such a gutless performance as last night is down to him. Fans accept defeat, but not lack of effort.
If you consider the squad Pulis took over and got them to 11th with organisation and effort, which Roy can’t seem to do.

As already stated NO DECENT MANAGER will come here if he hasn't achieved a minimum agreement over available funds to buy at least two or three players who could make the difference. As that is almost impossible to happen we will go on like this with things getting worse.I dread to think what the PALACE-LIVERPOOL game will turn out to be.Let's not forget that the player's morale isn't at its highest point at the moment. So God help us(as nobody else can or will).

I would love to watch Parish reading this and see if he can come up with an argument against it. Absolutely spot on.

If only. . How many times has Hodgson got us to similar positions? This time they are asking to much of any manager I know of. Paulis, didn’t fancy pushing his luck any further than once did he. Big Sam got the players he needed, but still didn’t fancy any more than that. Viera, got the best squad we ever had, and didn’t surpass 11th, and then failed miserably when that squad went backwards by a step or two, ie, Gallagher gone , more outs than ins.
Hodgson worked that out, and his reward was to leave him at least three players short on an already undermanned squad. Hodgson might pull them out of the crap even now, it’s possible ,he is that good at getting something from the worst of situations, it starts to look unlikely ,unless he gets some real help in January, as Sam did. Not likely
If the buck stops with the manager, Palace have no chance . With this squad of players, always two injuries away from not good enough Palace will struggle to stay up ,no matter who wants the job.

Telegraph is suggesting tonight that Hodgson is under increasing pressure and points out that Palace have only won 18 out of the last 64 home games under Hodgson.
Fortress Selhurst anyone?
If the results continue to go pear shaped in the next three games I could see him leaving by mutual consent.

Sky news are reporting that Cooper HAS to beat Wolves or he's out, personally, hope Forest win.

I wouldn't be unhappy with Cooper, if he ends up with us.
Notts forest has been a hard job; Last season they bought enough players for 2 new teams, and he managed to get them playing in the season- which is impressive in my book.
This year, they bought ANOTHER load of players, and he's had to integrate them again. that's tough.... and won't happen here.

Think he'll be a good fit.

It's time for a new broom. Hodgson does have not any idea how to adapt to our injuries and lack of squad depth.

If he were to go against type and give the younger bench warmers an opportunity I would have sympathy but he is stuck in a groove and persists with his favourite journeymen. He always says he is making the best of a bad job but is he?

His substitute policy is laughable. What on earth is the point of putting Mateta on in the last ten minutes ( or at any time) ?

I say now is the time to change managers, dispense with him and Ray Lewington. Keep Paddy as an advisor and get a younger more progessive manager. Not sure about Cooper but presumably Potter is available and likely to utilise what we have more successfully.

I don't think the fans will continue to accept the current situation.
