What I don’t understand with var decisions like this, is if VVD had broken Edouards leg in that challenge and picked up a red, he would still walk free because of an innocuous foul 10 secs earlier.

That’s the best I’ve seen Hughes play for us. I just hope the rocket that’s up his backside doesn’t fizzle out second half.
