It is a free hit tomorrow as Luton, Everton Burnley and Notts Forest all lost yesterday so we won't lose position in the table whatever happens. Only concern is goal difference.

2-1 to Chelsea again. They have better players, are better at cheating and we are mentally not up for it!
Fans could make a big difference but sadly won’t help at all.

Will you? How many people who go on about what our fans need to do actually stand and sing at Selhurst?

Our injury list has already decided the result, we will just not be good enough on the day with the players we have available therefore we will probably go down 0-2, with Roy saying we played well!

Like to see Johnstone reinstated for tomorrow night. Henderson’s confidence must be shot to pieces after conceding eleven goals in the last three matches. Admittedly he wasn’t directly at fault for any of them, but Johnstone’s distribution is far better. I can’t see it happening though.

Henderson is a bag of nerves and is like a ribbit in headlights. Can anyone explain why he is preferred to Johnstone?!

It is illegal to stand in a football stadium & there are more people than you realise who SIT n sing. OK?

My opinion on supporters STANDING in seated areas has been well documented on HOL and I was on the receiving end of a raft of opinions which were at variance with my own.Suffice to say, standing does not meet with my approval.

I shall make no further comment as there have been enough dastardly 'Willo threads' on HOL.

Me neither, at my age now I need my seat, on the rare occasion I go away now, with everyone standing up I’m knackered by half time and have to flop into my seat for a rest……..all that surging and pushing and shoving on the terraces of my youth is a distant memory

2-1 palace Definitely think we will win tomorrow. No one is expecting it and Chelsea are inconsistent and have nothing to play for in league. Will unfortunately keep Hodgson in a job. The idiot always escapes from the sack when he needs to unfortunately

It is very hard to see us getting anything from this game. I thought we had a decent chance going into the away game against Chelsea as they were the one being inconsistent and having key players out. This proved to be the case with us losing narrowly to a late winner.
This time the momentum is with Chelsea. We probably have our 4 best players out ( Doucoure, Olise, Guehi and Eze ) plus are in the process of bedding in 2 new players ( Wharton and Munoz ) probably earlier than Roy would have liked.
You kind of expect a back to the wall defensive effort but even then apart from Ayew winning the odd free kick it is hard to see us providing much of a goal threat.
Team selection wise i would like to see Mateta start down the middle with Edouard on the left and Ayew on the right. I think Eouard offers more of a goal threat than Schlupp.

One interesting fact is that despite all the doom and gloom, if we were to do the unexpected and win tonight we would actually match our PL record of three consecutive home wins! (Let's ignore all the less savoury stats that go with this game).
