It is time for some magic. I feel that a possible trick has been set up. We have Paddy McCarthy as Assistant Manager (probably) shielded, as far as the public can see, from both encouragement to the team and negative comment. Having managed the under 21 team he has a good track record of getting the best from young players.

Could a hidden shuffle take place with Roy and Ray remaining as far as the outside world is concerned in charge, but in reality Paddy running things (as a hidden manager) until the end of the season, and then revealed as our trained up manager for next season?

we need a fresh outlook, not an outlook that's been moulded by working with Roy for 18 months.
Not saying that Paddy hasn't got that, but I find it unlikely.

If Parish seriously thought that Paddy was the answer, he's had opportunity to have given him the job.
