I would not use the term spoilt.

We have been lucky enough to see some good players since promotion and we have survived despite not having any decent investment.

We have not been lucky enough to attract investors with deep pockets.

I would say we have ridden our luck and punched above our weight, plus we had Roy Hodgson save us when all looked doomed.

Sooner or later if nothing changes we will be relegated

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

You appear to have wiped 2 administrations from your memory. There isnt a 2nd division, its League 2 and we have never played in it.

Thanks for the pedantic reply, administration has nothing to do with the club and is all down the owners, I could take over utd and put them into administration.

It still doesn’t make sense what you said though, you stated we were always competitive financially, well obviously being in administration twice, regardless of who it’s down too, we were NOT competitive financially

From mismanagement by the owners.

It's not hard to work out why every big club in Europe come from the biggest cities/towns, because they have the fanbase and can generate the income to compete. If a club like Northamptons fans demand they're playing in the prem, that would be silly and unrealistic.

I think we have the 3rd highest catchment area in the UK, recently have been consistently the 15th best club in the country, its not exactly sportings greatest achievement. Like I said there's about 30 clubs roughly similar in size, so well done to the club for having us in the top 30%, spoilt we definitely aint.

We were inaugural members of the Old 4th division, just checked wiki, Do love it when the pedantic few get it wrong.

The only fans that are really spoilt in the PL are those of Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, and Man City (albeit only since their takeover). I suppose you can throw Spurs in there too.

Their fans only ever have to worry about whether they are going to win something. There is never any fear of relegation. They live on a different sphere to supporters of every other English club and each week rub shoulders with thousands of tourists and receive hundreds of hours of discussion and analysis in the media.

Anyone who has ever stepped foot in our stadium would struggle to say we are spoilt. Anyone who has watched us in most of our current tenure in the PL would struggle to say we are spoilt. Had you asked me 11/12 years ago when I was sat in a half-empty stadium in freezing conditions watching us lose 0-1 to Stoke while a guy screamed c**t at every opportunity, had you asked me then whether I would feel spoilt to have over a decade in the PL, then yes, maybe then.

I heard that was you.

Some are spoilt by their mummy, probably.

Those making all the critical noises are certainly rather delusional, irrational and unrealistic.

We are passing through another very difficult period when too many unexpected things have coincided. It isn’t the first time and won’t be the last but it will end.

Where we are when it does is an unanswerable question but wherever it is we must go on encouraging and supporting.

Constant criticism, confrontation and downright aggression creates division and demotivation.

It’s that which is more likely to result in relegation than anything else.

So leave the managing to the manager and the choosing of the manager to the owners. Our job is to support.

This is just patronising bollocks isn't it. Fans are under no obligation to do anything and anyone who says otherwise needs to get back in their box

Couldn’t have put it better. The I’m a better fan than you argument just does not wash and to even contemplate that online criticism affects results is fanciful at best.

You ought to see him on the News n Politics thread, thankfully he only ever comes over to Palace thread rarely. If you counter him, that's it, thread ruined.
