Roy was always an interim manager this season until we found someone.

What’s the latest on the manager front, there is not much on the media front and Parish has lost his voice?

The last manager that tried playing a system the players were not familiar with lasted 8 games . Munoz is probably the only player that would be comfortable with it and we haven't even seen enough of him to be sure . Schulpp played the left sided role for Leicester but that was years ago , he doesn't appear to be mobile enough for that role anymore . And as you say ,pressing who with ?

This is an end of season appointment not one that HAS to hit the ground running

It will be interesting if nothing else

OG played a flat back 4 when with Wolfsburg, He is hardly going to come in and attempt to play with wings backs. Only FDB who is one the worst managers in the history of football would think Ward was a wing back.

Exactly. People seem to forget this. Especially the media when they try create a headline.

Roy was always going to be willing to step aside mid season if the right candidate came along and the club were always going to have to be brave enough to move him out if the right chap came along.

If, as everybody on here claims our new man has a fixed, wing-backed, high pressed philosophy then I am sorry to say we are f***ed. There is no way on earth that the players we have can play that way.

Let's hope we get a man who is flexible and has a plan B and C.

If he is very rigid then that is surely no better than the man many on here are keen to get rid of ( ah but he's younger and foreign, that makes all the difference).

It’s clearly not going to happen his unfollowed the palace page and Alan Nixon been saying all day there was no agreement. Getting excited for no reason. Palace don’t get nice things. We have a tinpot atitude and no ambition. Probably the pathetic clown for the rest of the season

I don't know nothin about the bloke , just replying the previous post that suggested he was a rigid 3-4-2-1- coach .
We will see

And we still need a striker

The risk is, he has no experience of the intensity of the Premier League and would have to adapt very quickly. Wouldnt be surprised if McCarthy was retained.
