I’d like to say that I told you so with regard to our teams management, but I’ll leave you to make your own mind up.

Too early to say to be fair.

Burnley were hardly a decent test, were they.

It'll be interesting to see how we do against Spurs. They pass so well and we'll have to do a lot of defending. let's see how we manage our game then and see if we manage to find that out-ball and how we transition, don't you think?

Regarding Guehi, Doucoure, Eze and Olise, if we can keep two of those four it'll be a major victory. As it is Olise will definitely go because of the release clause and the probable enticement of Champion's league football.

It's rare in the PL to get an easy game, made so by a sending off.

We played what was in front of us and got the result.

For a first game, a new manager's dream, he will be aware that there are to be far stiffer tests.

I'd be very surprised if we keep any of them, to be honest, wouldn't you, Stirling?

Not as good a game as Everton, but he was certainly not bad. Munoz isn’t really a traditional RB, and him and Ward in the same team seems to work fine.

With his injury record I’d be delighted to get the release clause figure for him in the summer.

I’d say Guehi will go. We don’t need to seek Eze and I don’t see home pushing to leave. Given the other 2 have played very few games I’m not convinced the big hitters will come in for them this summer, so there’s every chance we keep three out of four.

So nice not to have to see Jeffrey Schlupp huffing and puffing up and down the pitch today. Also no Reidewald in the squad, both seriously unfit. Also nice not to see Hodgson standing with his hands in pockets adding nothing during the game.

From the nadir of the half-time break at Brighton a few weeks ago, things are hopefully on the way back up again.

Can't see anyone buying Doucoure cause he's been out for most of the season

We won, which is what matters.

2 more wins and 4 draws should be enough, but the fixtures ahead will make that tough.

We have 28 points, I don't think we need another 10 to stay up. I reckon 35 is enough.

Luton are on course to get around 30 points, based on their points per game. If they lose to Villa next week and then we beat them, we'll be 11 clear of them with about 10 games left.

Couple of big 'ifs' there but it could happen and, if it does, we'll stay up.

Top clubs already recognize the quality of Olise, Eze, Guehi, and Doucoure, plus they have massive squads, so I don't think injury history will put any of them off.

They will also figure, maybe correctly, that mismanagement contributed to the injury history of Olise and Eze.

I think Olise is gone for sure, because of his release clause. Guehi also likely, as he's been linked for a while. I want all four, but if we only get to keep Eze and Doucoure, it would be ok. We'd get a fortune for Olise and Guehi, and I'd like to think we'd buy a couple good players to replace them. (Although no way we replace Olise's talent.)
