If Farage decides to lead from the front then it potentially could be a potential game changer. Would be worth an immediate 7 to 10% bump to Reform. But timing is everything. Suspect it will only happen, if at all, once an election is called.

Farage is popular but I’m not sure he would want to stand to become an MP again.

He could campaign for them without running I suppose.

Any strengthening of Reform will dilute the wanning Conservative vote. Either way Charlies Angels are in charge from later this year so lets just get used to it. Might even be ok, The problem is so many are unknowns in terms of there actual abilities as opposed to their playground behaviour in Parliament.
Anyway if Farage joins in it will increase the entertainment. As one with no strong leanings I've never felt so apathetic.

Which I am beginning to think is part of the plan. Because when people are heavily invested in voting you get the likes of Corybn polling 40% in 2017 and then Johnson securing an 80-seat majority in 2019.

Now I am as guilty as anybody in this. Never felt so disgusted with our current Government and based on a recent HMG definition would now be categorized as an extremist because I want to see the entire structure rendered obsolete and something brand new installed.

But there is simply no valid option. Even voting Reform offers nothing much beyond registering a protest vote.

We are all being played and Starmer represents the very worst of our current political system but ultimately, a US State Department stooge, much like Sunak. We are effectively an occupied nation.

I dunno, plenty of options out here.

I might vote the Green (But No Way Raise the Price of Petrol) Party.
Or the Stop the Rain and Drain the Levels Party.
Or the North Somerset Caliphate Party.
Or the Portishead, Clevedon and Nailsea NAZI Party.
Or the Bolshevik Smash the State and Optimize Country Rambling Party...

Farage would be a significant improvement to Tice.

Tice is essentially Tory lite.....went along with all the major decisions that led us here...He even accepts some of the woke stuff....He needs to go.

Farage went along with Covid response but has since recognised the dishonesty that came with it.

If conservativism is to have a future worthy of the word it needs to start rejecting all of the prior concessions it made to the left.

Stop validating accusations of 'racism', stop validating gender and trans ideology. Stop acting like feminism is positive. This means being the opposite of our institutions and government.

Reject most of social liberalism and replace it with traditional British social conservativism.

The current Tories have played the uniparty game....they have introduced all the speech and thought restrictions....supported the Ofcoms and the Hope Not Hates and other NGOs who are specifically against conservativism.

They have fed the crocodile and they are reaping the rewards of rejection from their own voters.

If the right doesn't start defending social conservativism and rejecting liberalism then they will lose the country as they know it....Unless that is done they won't even have a community within the country that doesn't work against them.

What you won't defend you will lose.

I do think the points you make are important... as is the lying to parliament and the public, the double standards, incumbent fatigue, the absence of any rallying call to get something done, a myriad of sleaze, and the economy in the khasi with nobody with a pot to pi$$ in.

I couldn't have put it better myself.

It's a sorry state of affairs.
