Mods are the same as everyone else - they just merge and move threads plus card people occasionally. I don't see how you can "speak as a mod" and "speak as yourself", you have one voice and one opinion which has to adhere to the rules.

I agree DRT. Cucking is a decent poster who's opinions I often agree with, and of course there has to be moderation. But it seems that saying something like sling your hook if you don't like our opinion is infantile. (For the want of a better word)
