Forward ALAN LEE is determined to fire struggling Crystal Palace up the league table.
The 30-year-old impressed on his Palace debut when he came on at half-time in the 4-2 defeat at Reading last week.
Eagles manager Neil Warnock paid Ipswich Town £750,000 for the Irishman's services and LEE is aiming to get Palace's season up and running after a sticky start.
He said: "To set a target is a dangerous thing, but you like to get into double figures. I’m a centre-forward and I want to score goals, that’s my job. I feel that I put myself a little under pressure and I want to score a lot of goals for Crystal Palace.
"I like playing on my own upfront, I’ve played with a big centre forward, small centre-forward and each one asks a different thing from you. I like to think from my experience I can handle whatever.
"I was getting regular football at Ipswich but I jumped at the chance to go an play for Neil Warnock.
"He’s a winner. He’s someone who’s very successful. He’s brought an unfancied team up to the Premiership before and I like his style of play and I jumped at the chance.
"It’s a great club, the facilities are fantastic and it’s a new challenge for me and I’m really looking forward to it."
