Crystal Palace reserves were 2-1 winners at arch rivals Brighton.
Liverpool loan signing Besian Idrizaj started in attack, while Scott Flinders, Jose Fonte and DAVE MARTIN also featured.
The Eagles opened the scoring on the 20 minute mark as Idrizaj latched onto a ball down the middle to slam the ball past John Sullivan.
Brighton midfielder Jake Robinson smacked an effort against the bar, before his side equalised in the 81st minute as Alex Revell lobbed Flinders from 20 yards.
But with four minutes to go, Charlie Sheringham netted what proved to be the winner with a fine individual strike.
Palace: Flinders, Cline, Hills, Hughes (Bingham), Swaibu, Fonte, Hall, Smith, Sheringham, Idrizaj (Scannell), MARTIN.
