Former Eagles skipper Geoff Thomas is reported to be linked with the vacant manager's job at Crystal Palace. It is suggested that that Thomas is on Jordan's list to succeed Alan Smith who was sacked last Sunday.
Thomas, who was a member of the 1990 side that reached the FA Cup Final, is currently at Notts County, but as Jordan said that he wanted someone with top-flight experience it unlikely that Thomas is favourite for the job.
Another former Palace favourite, Alan Pardew, was linked with the job, but his club Reading issued a hands-off warning.
It appears that Gerry Francis and George Graham are topping Jordans shortlist with IAIN DOWIE as a possibility.
