Boss George Burley is confident Crystal Palace can arrest their slump.

The Eagles are in the relegation zone and now without a win in five matches after Saturday's 1-0 reverse at home to Millwall.

"We have no criticism in terms of our team's work rate and play," he said. "We created opportunities and dominated the game but did not put the ball in the net.

"We have some young players who have quality on the ball but we are missing players who can score goals for us - players like Darren Ambrose and JAMES VAUGHAN - but once again we have lost when we have not played badly.

"We had opportunities to equalise but we have to keep our heads up and I am sure the situation will turn.

"If we were getting overrun then it would be a big worry, but I am sure things will turn around for us."

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett said: "To come out with the three points is terrific, especially as it has been a long time since our last win.

"It was also a well taken goal and one of the harder chances in the game and he [Robinson] did well from an acute angle.

"It is all about us learning about this division, which is a very good division. We have to be right on our game and try to build and go forward.

"Palace are a good side and have been in every game. They had their opportunities and there are still a lot of points to play for this season."
