I see that Leicester have managed to get their game against Everton called off tomorrow.
On Saturday they had 19 players available so they are now saying that they have less than 14 available as the rules state 13 outfield players and 1 goalkeeper available means that the game goes ahead.
I doubt that is true so I wonder who really checks that this doesn't become a farce over the next month or so.
I can see Liverpool coming down with a lot of cases late next week so they don't have to play us without Mane and Sala.
A bit of a joke if you ask me!

Funny how now their semi-final 1st leg which was postponed due to covid etc didn't have to be because of 'False Postive Results'

[Link]

I can see them playing this 'game' quite a lot now to suit their own ends & perhaps a few other teams will follow suit(Arsenal & Chelski spring to mind)

I think they have used all their cards and will have to play. In particular, as I am coming over. Anyone fancy a pint that weekend? Will be around the Saturday and Sunday in Croydon.

How on earth have Arsenal got their game postponed today, they are definitely pulling a fast one? I just think they don’t want to play the likes of Pepe….

Pepe is at Afcon & has started alongside Wilf for Ivory Coast, btw, Wilf got an assist for Haller to score in the 25th min.

How on earth is he at the Afcon, he never plays for Arsenal?

On the subject of this thread, surely it's time to stop this farcical situation of using Covid as an excuse to postpone matches.

The threat of this horrid pandemic is, at last, abating. Rules about the way we live our lives are being relaxed so the same should apply to football.

So long as a club can field a goalie and have at least 13 players fit and available, they should be made to play.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Totally agree with you, but, you know as well as i do, like other times, results can be manipulated to suit the narrative. Loserpool, last week admitted their positive results when they got their game cancelled, turned out to be 'false-positives'. Who would have thought it.

Teams that have players at Afcon should not be allowed to have that taken into account - it was their choice to buy them.
Injuries - we all suffer those in differing degrees through a season.
Teams have what - a 26 man squad - and yet with maybe three cases of covid games get called off.
It is a joke and the League are being taken for a ride on this.

Your missing the real reason, TV and money. They want competitive games not walkovers.
