Never existed. Here's reality: if the EU's 19th Century customs union approach is so bloody amazing, why has the same model not spawned elsewhere in the world? Are MERCOSUR desperate for a common currency, anthem, flag and president? How about ASEAN? Are they looking to shut off trade with China because it harms their protectionist ideals? No. These countries trade: sometimes freely, often successfully, and without the cold, dead hand of bureaucratic cronyism stifling their productivity and competitiveness. We are fcuking MAD not to join them.

Good point. People from our former colonies often appear to have a greater affinity with the British than other Europeans. You could even say that some, if not many, (given the opportunity) would have a greater affinity to British working opportunities...than the British! I think that we underestimate the reality within modern day Britain how many key public services are addressed by such immigrants of whom we should be extremely thankful for, given that in SOME CASES, Brits didn't want the jobs themselves.

There will still be immigration. The issue for most people who want to leave is uncontrollable immigration.

I just sat through Andrew Neil interviewing George Osborne. I would suggest anyone undecided (and indeed decided) watch it. Particularly those claiming we'd all have £4300 taken from our back pockets if we leave the EU.

The EU is a project doomed to failure. The only option for the EU is for closer integration. The EU wants to harmonise taxation across Europe something which the UK should and hopefully would never agree to. Given this is the case and that even if the worst case scenario happens and uk votes to remain to suggest the UK which will not be a full participating member of the EU could somehow reform it is laughable. Cameron obtained little or no concessions when the threat of the referendum loomed large to think the UK will somehow be able to reform the EU should the uk vote to remain is naive in the extreme. The main reason so many other countries voice their opposition to a brexit is from their own self interest perspective. Of the 28 member states only 10 are net contributors the the EU budget (which it is expected to be announced need currently has a shortfall of around 25 million euros) and of those 10, 3 contribute two thirds towards the EU budget the UK, France and Spain. Victoria the leave view the for a brighter future and one where the UK can control its own destiny.
