Which one of these is favourite to go down? Course, there will also be a struggle with the 3 newly promoted teans, but these 4 don't look good. Palace- has some quality in Zaha (but if he leaves), the youngster Eze, some work commitment in Ayew. Who will be main center forward goalscorer next season? Unsure Benteke, Batshuayi or Mateta will be at the club. Newcastle- ASM has done great this season, they also have Willock from Arsenal who will probably stay and ensure goals from midfield. S'hampton- they relied last season a lot on Danny Ings. This season Che Adams has stepped up, but they lack depth for a whole season. Burnley- an aging squad with a very good defence and goalkeeper, but they have a harder time by the year as they get older. They hardly make transfers or change their squad. Can't see Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Leicester, Spurs, Arsenal, Everton, West Ham, Leeds, Aston Villa, Brighton or Wolverhampton having any problems with relegation, especially with the players they have now and if they don't sell. Not looking good, guys You say that you can't see Leeds going down, well they're in the same position Sheff Utd were last year. A great first season in the Premier League and then they got found out (2nd season syndrome). I bet you would have said the same about them this time last season.

I think we'll struggle next season, too much change required in a short space of time. Hodgson has kept us treading water for the last couple of seasons, but when Guaita gets POTY shouts two seasons running you know what the score is. 56 goals conceded this season, goal difference minus 20 and the goalie is POTY!

Sheffield last year just relied on some 1-0 wins and defrnding.

Good sense, as always. We have avoided relegation this year because we have been very efficient at harvesting points from teams at the bottom: twenty from W.B.A., Sheff. Utd, Fulham and Brighton.

Define '' established '' ? Outside of the top 6-8 clubs it's becoming an annual race to get to 40 points. I'm baffled that people are tipping us to go down next season when we haven't even finished this one yet and we all know there is potentially a lot of change will occur in the summer.

I suspect that it will be another mini league of 6 Brighton could break out and challenge for a top 10 spot, or they could get a couple of injuries and struggle near the bottom again. I'd like to think it will be exciting times for Palace next season with a new manager and half a dozen new players. We shall see.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

When next season starts and the transfer window has closed then I'd be prepared to consider this question. This time last year when we were finishing the season on a miserable run, myself, and indeed many others, thought we might come unstuck this season and finally fall through the PL trap door. At the moment there are just too many ifs and buts.

find threads like this funny, 2013 promoted, 2021 still in premier league, and every year in-between so called fans have been saying if things dont change we will go down, guess what things really haven't changed and we still in the top diversion. But by the law of averages , you could be right one year, then stand on your soap box and shout I TOLD YOU SO

And crucially having the best players available when we play the weaker teams. That to me is the main factor. I’d certainly back our strongest starting eleven over three or more teams next season.

I think it is impossible to predict the relegation picture for next season at this stage, there will be lots happening at all clubs throughout the summer.
