Ah you're all spoilt. We've played 9 won 1 at home, what more do you want? Two?

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Indeed, we've never had it so good according to Hodgson.

Most other posters have said it all. Still we didn't lose to the Weed which is the main thing.

I just hope we do something in the transfer market but I'm not holding my breath.

One more point

Brighton have two wins in eleven, they looked tired when they were pressed and they have their own injury problems. This was not peak Brighton, but second half we them look like it. The last few games have been a big improvement so I don't want to be too negative, but at some point we have to be braver or this is going to keep happening.

Roy is doing the best he can with a limited squad. It's the board who needs to back him in January. We knew we were in for a hard long slog of a season this year after Roy resigning.

The board know Roy, if they give him money to spend in January the likelihood is he won’t play them any way! Whats the point, they’ll wait until the new manager comes in. Roy’s so odd with new players

Just got home and I know someone must have asked but I'm gonna ask anyway. Can anyone explain the reason for taking off Ayew and playing a half fit Eze out of position? This is nothing to do with Eze missing an open goal of gifting then an equaliser, it's about giving up the ball for the last half hour and hoping to hang on. It never works. If Ayew had to go off and we all know he didn't, then Schlupp or Ahamada would have made some sense, but not Eze. For once I would have been happy for Roy to make no subs in all honesty. Ozoh is gonna be great for us, but bringing on a holding midfielder for the more advanced playing Hughes was a clear signal of, we hold what we have. One of the worst halves of Football I've ever seen. Two points thrown away.

Roy has just said he took Ayew off because he was on 4 yellows and didn’t want to risk losing him for next game. Stupid decision and the fact that he mentioned it he knows he was wrong.

He’s lost the plot. 1-0 up at home against our biggest rivals but no, let’s put this game at risk and make sure he’s available for the away game at Chelsea. Oh dear

I think it was an awful game for Roy, INHO he got everything wrong, the starting formation of basically 4-1-4-1 didn't work at all, the two wide players had to much defending to do, which nullified their attacking chances, should have started with two DMs playing like DMs, with Schlupp left, Ayew right and Olise in the Eze role, and to take Ayew off and put Eze on the left wing, Awful, i am not sure what Lerma is good at, poor in defense and attack, far to negative, time to go now Roy, hasn't got the greatest squad, but, is not using what he has to its full ability, very disappointing

Agreed, should never have taken Ayew off and especially for Eza. Schlup would have been better coming on for him but Ayew shouldn’t have come off. Bad substitution but we got away with it and I would have taken the point beforehand and was glad to hold on for it. Brighton are a good side (sadly)

If he didnt bring Eze on, people would complain. You cant win as a manager everyone thinks they could do a better job than you, especially with hindsight.

General ball control, toddler.

So many flaps and spills... not exactly confidence building material

I'd rather have Johnstone on goal. Henderson was so shaky in the second half, someone needs to tell him the ball is his baby so he doesn't drop it all the time.

Agreed. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Who expected Eze to have a shocker? He was always coming on for Ayew at some point. And if he hadn’t brought Ozoh on after his performance against Citeh there’d have been complaints too. If your subs work your a genius but if they don’t ….. in this case they didn’t unfortunately

Re Ayew decision. He's still on 4 and he mustn't get 5 before or including out 19th game against Chelsea. For the 20th game the target moves to 10 for the rest of the season. Didn't know so checked it.
Still a baffling decision cos if booked at Chelsea he's not available for Brentford.
