I wonder if anybody can give me some info about a Harry or Harold Salt who played for the Palace during 1928-1929 season. According to your history on players you do have a piece on him saying he came to you from Grays Thurrock in 1927 or 1928 and played 44 games before going to Brentford for the 1930-1931 season.
At least you had something alas for once wikipedia did not. It's just that a very good friend has a neighbour who is a descendant of Mr Salt who has his father also a descendant and extremely ill and is trying to get info on him as I suppose contact was lost with Harry.I did get some stuff from Brentford and he was there for 3 seasons. In his first season 1930-31 the Bees won every league game at home (21)3rd division South and Salt was in 20 of those at half back and 40 of the 42 total.OK guys if you can help me out for this old fellow I would be grateful.Picture of him from Brentford

Harry Salt had a few good seasons.

He was a mover and a shaker.

Give his family my condiments.

I have just found this link so sorry if the info is too little too late and it may be that we know the same people as we both live in Sunbury but I play football with Harry Salt's grandson (Bill)who lives in
Walton and would imagine he would have some of the history who may be still seeking. Sorry if this info is already known or not needed
