He does get his head to a lot of balls but can be caught out by pace. I think I am right in thinking that as a youth at Cardiff he actually started off playing up front. Edited by Willo (28 Jul 2017 10.19am)

According to our friends at Wikipedia, he made 86 appearances for Cardiff and scored six goals, so if he started out as a striker they either moved him pretty quickly or else he was s****.

We obviously need a major signing in the CB area like Chambers and/or Martins. But a one year deal to provide back up cover might be worth considering?

We already got that in Delaney. Other clubs like West Ham and b'mouth showing real ambition. It's time to back de Boer otherwise a top half finish, looks very distance.

In pre-season Bournemouth have signed Begovic,Ake,Defoe and Mahoney.
W.Ham have signed Hart,Zaboleta,Arnautovic and Hernandez.
