Why the question is crap without exploring someone's complete sexual history. NHS England said no-one would be forced to answer the question but recording the data would ensure that "no patient is discriminated against". -are you discriminating against a monogamous homosexual from Purley or a hetrosexual gangbanging chav single mum from New Addo? Typical Tory bollocks.

What is the point of asking? If for example, a male nurse is discriminating against someone because they are heterosexual, is the idea that they would suddenly stop if the patient said they were gay - or vice versa? Wouldn't all the time spent on this sort of nonsense be better spent on treating the patient? Edited by hedgehog50 (15 Oct 2017 5.38pm)
