With Bournemouth losing the play-off semi- final he'll be available - don't think a top half side will go for him, could be wrong Everton or Leicester might be interested, or Villa/Leeds, but feasible he could come here, £25 mil would be worth every penny imho.

Good idea if we have 25 million. And enough left over to get the four or five other signings that are urgently needed in mid field and central defence. Now Bournemouth, will be needing to offload some more higher wage earners , he could fetch less than that .
But this is our problem, players of Brooks quality, are costing around the twenty million figure, clubs such as Villa, West H, Wolves, maybe Leeds. / Brighton. Have and will pay these numbers virtually every window. We don’t seem to be able to keep up with that.

Was the best player on the pitch when we played them in the cup; however, only 5 goals and 6 assists this season in 30 odd appearances. With his contract expiring in 12 months we might be able to get him for nearer the 12-15 million. A yes from me.

if we can get him for that price, then yes, but it all depends how much is in the kitty and whilst it would be good to have Brooks as a wide player we have more pressing needs and they really have to take precedence IMO (unfortunately).
