He looks rejuvenated.

He's a total gent, and I'm proud to have him represent my club. I wonder how many managers in the PL, Pep would take the time to sit and chat to during a game (particularly given it was while his best player was being treated for an injury sustained in a foul by one of ours) - that shows the level of respect others in the game have for him, and I make them right. And then, in another nod to his qualities as a man, to refuse to discuss what Pep said in the press conference, while confirming he had no problem if Pep wanted to discuss it, just didn't feel it was right to take it upon himself to divulge!

Having said that, please not manager of the month, it normally comes with a slump in results! I'll take manager of the season come May when we've cemented our top 8 finish instead.

My one and only concern with Roy was his age, but he looks younger since he's turned our fortunes around. I really hope he has another season in him as I think with a bit of spending he could give us our best ever PL season.

Am I right in thinking Alan Pardew got Manager of the Month and then our downward spiral in the PL commenced.
We all know Roy is worthy of the award but has been somewhat of a poisoned chalice in the past!

Glad he's nominated, hope he doesn't win as it seems to be a curse.

Him, Moyes and Pep, are probably the three candidates for manager of the season, maybe Allerdyce. Its rare that in January, you have four stand out candidates who on the basis of four months have achieved the kind of results that defy the norm.

Much as I hate West Ham, Moyes has done an amazing job there as well.

Given the total mess he took over reckon he should be in line for manager of the season assuming we continue as at the moment, till May, and finish well clear of the bottom three.
