Will be tough, but I think we will have a reaction and may punish them

4-1

“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder

Agree,a tough fixture.
They have hit a very good patch of form and probably a draw,1-1 is a likely outcome.

I don't really understand how they can be where they are with the strength of their squad and the money they've spent. I think it'll depend on the attitude of their squad. If they are up for it I think we'll lose 2-0. If they have a similar attitude to when we last played them (when they were so flat and seemingly unmotivated) I think we'll win 2-0.

A draw or 1 nil loss

Roy's bubble has burst, we'll limp over the line and we'll all remember how painful it can be

Roy’s job is done Robbo. He was brought in to keep us up and he has done that with flying colours.

Well the last 11 games between us have resulted in both teams scoring. Will this trend continue? Probably. I'll go for a 2-2 draw.

I am of the same thinking, as with Everton.

My guess is that whilst I may look at them and think 'they've certainly got better depth but also options than us' I think they will come to Selhurst and play very much as the underdogs - timid and rigid at the back.

Again, not much by means of a prediction, but I think it will be low scoring and with separation no greater than a single goal. Let's hope that is in our favour.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I can see a cracker of a game coming on Saturday. 3-2 Palace

The last 2 games have shown why Roy should be nowhere near getting the permanent job. We will nick a goal but Rice will dominate our average midfield and the East Enders will win 2-1.

I hope we beat them. Man for man they are stronger than us and I can't understand why they have struggled this season. What they did to Bournemouth was about right.
Depends on what permutation the manager goes for. If we play

Guaita
Richards, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell
Olise, Eze, Doucoure, Schlupp
Mateta, Edouard

we can win.

We won't and we won't.

Always goals and entertainment in this fixture. I think we may loose this one 2-1. after the last two games teams know to just sit back against us and we cant break them down. first goal will be crucial as always

A draw at best.
West Ham have come into form and are a real threat fromm set pieces.
We are likely to be without our best defensive header in Anderson and will have to deal with their two centre backs, Rice, Sousek and Antonio who are all adept in the air.
We have shown more attacking intent in recent weeks, but the fact remains that we have failed to score in our last two games against struggling teams and we still have blunt, non firing strikers.
Sorry to pour cold water on recent positivity.
I promise that I am not trying to usurp Willo's role.
