The Works of Smith were rejected for inclusion in the Bible at the Council of Nicea (325AD) although there are some fragmentary references in the Dead Sea Scrolls (dating from as early as 250 BC).

I was at the game..we took the kick off went down the pitch and smith scored. He was one of numerous Palace players that had a connection to WBA. After a good start to his Palace career he like many others before, since and in the future! flattered to deceive and was henceforth average to crap in his ability.

I was around in those days and have been wondering why I couldn't recall this amazing feat - until I did some research and discovered that it was away from home. But even so I should have remembered it. He came from Peterborough, and I think he was probably in the team that beat us to the 4th Division championship in the early sixties.
