One unfortunate side effect could be that Everton will be on the lookout for another winger in the January sales and we could be competing with them

I saw the incident on TV and it looked innocuous at the time. I guess he puts a hell of a lot of strain on his knee joints with all that rapid acceleration, twisting and turning and abrupt stopping compared to an average player. He was on form Sunday too, putting in good crosses for Lukaku.

Gutted for Yannick. Still love watching him play. In fact in some ways it is even better now as we don't have to put up with the frustrating bits - you just get to enjoy the really outlandish bits.

Looking at their squad, they look strong enough right through the 25 to suggest to me that they won't be huge movers in the January window. I think they may move for a central midfielder, now that age is catching up with Barry, I think Schneiderlin at Manchester United makes sense for them, who incidentally is one of the players I think we could use.

Hope he makes a full recovery. I really do enjoy watching him play, he's such a charismatic player and astonishingly capable. Did us proud, and earned us a staggering transfer fee for a player we bought for under 350k who couldn't get into a s**t Bristol City team.
