Who knows in the mad world of football? We nearly got this guy in the summer only to be gazumped by Chelsea, so it would be fitting justice if we got him back?!

From what I understand premier league rules dictate you cannot loan more than one player from the same club, i.e. Remy

Guess we might be able to send Remy back. Maybe third time lucky? and we actually end up loaning a half decent / fit striker... But if Chelsea havent even given him a season to prove himself does that mean they've seen something they don't like? So that possibly being the case I doubt he'll set the place on fire and should probably be avoided. Also would make more sense to loan him to Swansea as part of the deal...

I rate Remy...unfortunately you will get 2//3 games out of him before another niggle appears, and he's out for a few weeks ...and so on.

Give Remy a chance.not kicked a ball yet. Benteke is a quality player but lacking confidence.

Apparently he might play or be on the bench on Saturday at Bolton. If Remy stays fits (IF!) he could combine well with Benteke (when he's fit!)

Seem to remember an awful lot of people on this forum saying we should get him on loan and saying what a great signing if was when we did.....same people now saying what an awful signing it was, and who will probably change their minds again if he plays well for the rest if the season. Personally I was against the signing as he is injury prone. But lets give it until the end of the season before we call him the worst loan signing ever. .
