This is a solid, disturbing and somewhat "stable door and bolted horse" article. Loads of sources and evidence of strong research. Our resident right wingers will obviously dismiss all this professional rigour as lefty claptrap without a hint of rebuttal evidence. Which will prove the points being made in the article quite nicely

Dear oh dear. Sour grapes Nick! Why can't you accept the Remain camp were defeated because they lost the argument with the British people. Same with Trump. But instead, you pick up excuses.. "A shady global tech company, the Russians..." Boring! Erm... What about the leftist Silicon Valley and the donations made to the Democrat campaign. Facebook workers admitting to suppressing Conservative stories on their trending news. Twitter promoting "liberal" verified accounts in the feeds (look at pure negative responses to Trump's tweets v Facebook). YouTube censoring right-wing political videos. Apple refusing to publish an anti-Hilary app, yet allowing Trump ones etc etc etc. Despite this daily leftist influence, Brexit still happened and Trump still won! Get over it! The company Cambridge Analytica were very evasive about being asked questions and declined to appear.

This is awful! I am fed up of being controlled and told what to think by the establishment in their clandestine and secretive ways. Thank god for posts like this and the thousands of similar ones I receive on social media highlighting this. We are blessed that a few thousand/million people are able to see through the smokescreen and inform everyone else.

Interesting stuff. I would suspect that in reality, most of the PsyOps from the military have their basis in management and marketing psychology, rather than being influenced by them. The military has always been a long way behind the rest of society in embracing social sciences - and a lot of the origins of psyops can be traced back to Freud's nephew who adopted psychological theory into marketing strategy as far back as the 1920s. Having read the article, there isn't really anything new in here, other than the utilisation of new information technology.
