Just seen we are having a midweek friendly to help boost confidence! The opponents Bromley, aren't they the team we said we wouldn't play again after the last "friendly" If so strange choice of ooponent.

Just commented elsewhere that everything now is preparation for the proper stuff AFTER Chelsea. That's when our season and performances are absolutely crucial. Some experimenting is needed for Roy to get to know the strengths and weaknesses of the team and now without Benteke to asses who takes his place. Let's hope no one picks up any injuries. But to me it's something which Roy obviously feels is needed so I trust his judgement and what he is doing

An interesting and innovative idea. Makes me confident that, in Roy, we have got a very clever manager who will try to do whatever it take to get its out of this mess. Old course, it might still be a bridge too far but at least we're not just giving up. Step up Freddie... and do an Ian Wright for us.
