Who would you say is the biggest waste of money to have worn the sacred shirt since our stint in the Prem in 2003/04 - I'm talking someone who we paid a transfer fee for, on a permanent.

I still can't get past Jordon Mutch - £4'500'000. It doesn't sound much these days, but pre TV deal/Neymar inflation crazy money it is a joke. And he's still earning a living off us.

Maybe someone like Darcy Blake - signed on an undisclosed (presumably a small fee), but ultimately seemed to have problems off the pitch which pretty much ended his career.

Jack Hunt cost a couple of million and didn’t he break his ankle before playing a game for us? Loaned to a few clubs and we sold him for pennies to Sheffield Wednesday I think. I know £2 million isn’t a great deal of money by today’s standards, but not sure he ever played a game for us!
