I suppose that it's no surprise that the Australian cricket team are a bunch of cheating barstewards when their society started life as a British offshore prison. ( flameproof hat on )

( flameproof hat on ) How dare you Sir! It was a lolly that had unwrapped in his pocket and he was wiping the sticky bit on his ball. No harm in that is there.

Has now stood down along with Warner. Only as captain and vice captain for the rest of this test although I can't see Smith continuing as captain any more as he has brought disgrace to Australian cricket.

Can't help sencing a self righteousness from the Aussies. Love how they keep saying that cheating is 'in Australian' as if the Aussies are some bastion of fairness in an otherwise corrupt world.

Why has Smith, compared to Bradman recently, got into this, pathetic and blatantly detectable incident, it is quite incredulous. To rub it in the South Africans dished it out and won the game convincingly, there is not much love lost between the two sides either. Must be serious repercussions, the impression Smith and his mates give of their being a fine or game ban is nowhere near what is required.
