Unfortunately the U23s are doing a passable impersonation of the 1st team in the first 20 minutes allowing the opposition to totally dominate the ball, and giving away a very soft goal.

Outplayed there 1-1 - Boro should be 3 up - yards faster. The disadvantage of the U23s is that they do not play together as a team - there are always people drifting in and out on loan and seniors playing the odd game to get fit. Really hot number 9 - Palace snap him up if you can.

HT 1-1 Not a lot to report, Tommo doing 'ok' Clyne been good, O'Brien & Rich-Baghuelou solid in defence, midfield, scrappy to say the least, tho, tbf, quite a wind swirling round SP. Up front, Spence & Mathews(in this game) are our versions of Gerrard & Lampard for England, play one or the other, not both together.
